General waste are items that are not recyclable or hazardous, such as, Styrofoam cups and containers pens and pencils tissues, napkins and paper towels. General waste, also called residual waste, is material that is produced by businesses and households that cannot be recycled. It includes materials such as non-recyclable plastics, polythene, some packaging and kitchen scraps.
